Jenna Fischer's most well-known part is as Pam Beesly in the highly loved television series The Office. The actress won two SAG Awards and an Emmy for her outstanding performance by the comedy's ensemble.
She was born and raised within Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna spent her childhood watching her mother, Anne performing in church plays. This instilled in her an interest in theater.
Fischer was a theatre actress in her own country. The role she played was Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway play Reasons to Be Happy. In the following play, she was a part of Steve Martin's Meteor Shower - an absurdist production starring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg - for the Old Globe Theatre's world premiere.
In October of 2019, Fischer and The Office cast-mate and real-life best friend Angela Kinsey launched a podcast called Office Ladies on the Earwolf platform. The podcast has since become wildly popular, landing within the Top Ten globally every week and receiving over 200 million downloads within the first two years. Office Ladies was awarded the iHeart Radio Podcast of the year in January 2021.
She's written two books, The Actor's Life, a Survival Guide that outlines her journey to Hollywood acting as a professional as well as Office BFF's, Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends who were There, an account of the most memorable relationship they shared and their experiences in The Office.
