Ashley Wagner was born on the 16th of May, 1991 in Heidelberg, Germany. Ashley spent her teenage years with older women. This affected her self-esteem since she felt that they were more mature and according to her, prettier, in comparison to her. Ashley describes her teenage self as the definition of a "hot-mess". Ashley's mother enrolled her into modeling courses in order to build her confident. Ashley considered becoming a fashion model to earn a living. After being told she was too short to model, Ashley considered becoming a lawyer or obtaining the degree of a psychologist. Ashley was able to convince her parents to allow her to attend an institution that has an integrated law and psychology program. Prior to that, she was employed in restaurants. Similar to her peers, Ashley has already started filming roles that aren't part of from the Twilight series. In the past, she said that she wanted to be Bond-girl as well as Wonder Woman.
