Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams (born on 20th August 1974 in Aviano Italy). American actress. Famous for her naive and charming characters. Adams is born in Italy as her father worked in the U.S. military and she lived in Castle Rock Colorado as one of seven children. The mid-1990s saw her begin acting and dancing professionally with Boulder's Dinner Theatre and the Country Dinner Playhouse in Colorado. After that, she relocated to Minnesota where she was scouted for Drop Dead Gorgeous, a documentary mock film that focused on beauty contests. Her screen debut was a huge success, in which she played an annoying but pleasant contestant, Janet relocated to Los Angeles where she began an acting career professionally. Janet Leigh got married to Tony Curtis between June 1951 and September 1962. The couple had children: Kelly Curtis (and Jamie Lee Curtis) and Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh's career in film began in the the late 1940s when she was hired by MGM. She had been noticed by Norma shearer. The decade following, she appeared in many famous films, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) as well as Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
